Job Purpose
The purpose of this job is to produce scalable software solutions, the candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle across Tarjama, from conception to deployment.
 
Duties & Responsibilities
 
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
Design server-side architecture.
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
Write effective APIs.
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Fix, debug, and upgrade software.
Create security and data protection settings.
Write technical documentation.
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve the software.
Regularly inspect server code for speed optimization.
Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage.
Improve the quality of the team’s code through writing unit tests and automation.
Collaborate and work closely with the product and design team to understand better the end-user requirements.
Configure the backend usability of all front-side applications
 
 
Education, Experience & Qualifications
 
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other related field.
(3-5) years of relevant working experience in software development.
Experience in web services, RESTful APIs, relational and non-relational databases.
Extensive backend programming experience in programming languages, ex. python (Django and FastAPI) and node.js.
A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Experience with Git version control.
Hands-on experience in Cloud services PaaS, ex. AWS, Asure, Google Cloud.
