Position Summary:
MGIS is an International School with IB certification, where English is the language of instruction. Parents in the MGIS community chose the school because of its excellent English language verbal models for their child in kindergarten. During educational activities and interventions, students are exposed to proper English pronunciation and sentence structure, both within and outside the classroom, from the teacher and the teaching assistant.
The Kindergarten Teacher Assistant supports the kindergarten teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. This role involves assisting in lesson delivery, classroom management, and fostering students' social, emotional, and academic development. The KG Teacher Assistant also helps with the preparation of materials, supervision of activities, and effective communication with students, teachers, and parents.
