Department/Brand Profile

The Marketing Graphic Designer specialist is responsible for developing, overseeing, and optimizing digital marketing initiatives to maximize brand awareness, member engagement, and lead conversion. This role involves working and leading brand marketing campaigns, setting digital marketing goals, and planning and managing the marketing budget across various channels. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and conversion through strategic digital marketing initiatives. This role requires a combination of marketing expertise, analytical thinking, and creativity to optimize our online presence and achieve our marketing goals.


Job Summary 

  • Own the execution of digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels, including social media, email, and the company website.
  • Ensure all content, from website to social media, is updated, brand-consistent, and compliant with company guidelines.
  • Lead initiatives for website maintenance using WordPress.
  • Collaborate with creative teams for branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials, and content creation.
  • Optimize member engagement, lead conversion, and digital sales.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, strategic partners, advertising agencies, and other service providers.
  • Manage and grow social media channels, ensuring timely engagement and consistent branding.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Brand and Communications, to ensure integrated marketing communications.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns meet compliance requirements and receive necessary approvals.
  • Liaise with external consultants, such as graphic designers, as necessary.
  • Lead public affairs and PR efforts, representing the company at community and industry events.
  • Collaborate on pricing and customer service policies.
  • Provide insights for product development and improvements.
  • Regularly review and report on organizational digital performance, including competitor analysis.
  • Manage and report on marketing budgets.
  • Comply with the Marketing & Communications Strategy and the organization's overall Strategic Plan.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, PR firms, and other service providers.

Essential Functions

  • Oversees content for social media platforms and coordinates with the Writer/Multimedia Specialist and the Media Specialist to ensure the best content for social media communities including written posts, stories, photos, and videos.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, informed by market research and analysis.
  • Determine key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate market trends, competitor tactics, and demographic data to refine strategies.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
  • Ensure all product information and details are accurate across website and digital channels.
  • Maximise digital sales and conversion through website and digital media.
  • Ensure digital channel delivers brand awareness and engagement.
  • Ensure all digital activity is consistently on brand across all touchpoints.
  • Assist with conducting and analyzing research (primary and secondary) to provide insight into strategy and activity planning.
  • Analysis and reporting of all digital analytics, delivering insight and refined activity.
  • Monitor and report on all competitor digital activity in the market.
  • Ensure marketing material meets compliance requirements and is signed off by the compliance

officer/manager.

  • Execute and manage social media campaigns to build followers, enhance visibility, and drive engagement.
  • Ensure all campaigns and content comply with the Marketing & Communications Strategy and the organization's overall Strategic Plan.
  • Design ads in liaison with an external graphic design consultant where necessary.
  • Identify suitable print/digital advertising opportunities and negotiate space accordingly.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
  • Plan and coordinate public affairs and public relations efforts including community outreach.
  • Effectively represent the company at various community, business, industry, and governmental meetings to promote the company and its interests.
  • Develop and implement pricing and customer service policies in conjunction with the Business Manager.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience And Skills – Selection Criteria

 

ESSENTIAL

PREFERRED

Education

  • Bachelor's degree level, degree in digital technologies, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or equivalent.

A master in degree in marketing or management 

Experience

  •  3+ years’ experience in a similar digital role.
  • Proven success in writing professional web and marketing copy, with the ability to produce compelling, optimized copy while maintaining brand messaging, persuasiveness, and readability.

Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles to create user-friendly and visually appealing digital assets.

Certification and Licensure

 

 

Job-Specific Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with Google Analytics with the ability to summaries key data into consumer insight to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Experience managing a website including familiarity with web design and content management system experience.
  • Experience in social media strategy and execution including prior use of tools including Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Experience in growing digital sales conversion.
  • Experience with CRM or an automated email marketing platform Outstanding analytical skill, a high degree of intellectual curiosity and creativity, and the ability to engage with other senior leaders in addressing complex business issues.
  • Knowledgeable of web/e-marketing and social media best practices.
  • Experience with graphic design.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and establishing sales and marketing budgets and action plans.
  • Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex sales deals.
