Job Description – Technical Support Engineer
Role Purpose
The Technical Support Engineer supports the Technical Manager in overseeing installation and commissioning projects by reviewing technical documentation, monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with company and customer standards, resolving technical issues, and supporting resource planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and support the preparation of tenders, contracts, and technical documentation.
Audit technical reports and prepare site progress reports.
Monitor installation and commissioning activities to ensure quality and compliance with SOPs.
Coordinate with site teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project schedules.
Conduct site inspections, identify improvement opportunities, and investigate technical incidents.
Support project planning, resource allocation, and budget monitoring.
Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Assist in developing technical procedures and support recruitment and onboarding activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 7 years of experience in the beverage industry.
Experience in beverage line installation and commissioning.
Familiarity with Krones, KHS, and Sidel equipment is preferred.
PMP certification is an advantage.
Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
Strong reporting, communication, and English language skills.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
