Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee construction activities at our project sites in Amman, Jordan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily site operations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities on-site.
- Ensure that construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, providing technical guidance to site teams.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage site safety protocols and promote a culture of safety among all personnel.
- Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports, and records.
- Resolve technical issues that arise during construction and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in procurement and material management to ensure timely delivery of resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in large-scale building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
Working Conditions:
- Based full-time on construction sites.
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- May require extended hours and weekend availability.
