Overview

We are seeking a Web Analytics Lead to lead data-driven initiatives for a global manufacturing client. This role is key to transforming web data into strategic insights that drive business decisions, improve reporting capabilities, and enhance operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will lead both the strategic planning and hands-on implementation of web analytics solutions, establishing a comprehensive analytics framework for a multinational manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute web analytics strategies aligned with client objectives and business goals.
  • Implement, manage, and optimize GA4, GTM, and tag management systems.
  • Debug JavaScript and ensure accurate implementation of tracking scripts.
  • Deliver business reviews that highlight key trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Translate web data into actionable strategic recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, privacy regulations, and consent management requirements.
  • Utilize heatmaps and tools such as Microsoft Clarity and Looker Studio for reporting and data visualization.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in web analytics strategy and implementation.
  • Strong expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Solid experience with JavaScript debugging and tracking implementation.
  • Strong understanding of web tracking frameworks and privacy compliance.
  • Proven ability to synthesize web data into strategic business recommendations.
  • Experience with heatmaps and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with Piano Analytics.
  • Advanced analytics certification.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Clarity and Looker Studio.
  • Experience in marketing analytics.
  • Knowledge of consent management platforms (CMPs).
