Site Acquisition Specialist

Role Purpose
Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, acquiring, and securing sites, including negotiating lease agreements, collecting and reviewing legal documentation, and finalizing contracts in compliance with regulatory and client requirements.


Detailed Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with customer and building owner(s) and other third parties Oversees site acquisitions including site identification, and qualification through completion of approval packages.
  • Coordinate with project management teams to ensure sites meet customer requirements.
  • Negotiate the leasing of sites and verify the legal contractual documents.
  • Obtain all required permits/zoning approval from national and local agencies.
  • Participates in special projects as required. 
  • Prepare and complete site candidate identification packages and/or lease and zoning audits 
  • Report on viable locations for sites to ensure entitlements are possible
  • Coordinate site walks, IBS site design walks and other site/field visits with RF Engineering, Zoning, Implementation Project Manager and other stakeholders as required. 
  • Negotiation of Lease, Amendment, License, Right-of-Way and/or Easement Agreements with property owners. 
  • Completion of leasing packages and other documentation required by the client.
  • Assist in preparation and monitoring of individual site budgets and schedules.
  • Coordinate with landowner and client during the lease negotiation process to obtain fully executed lease or option agreement. 
  • Researching and obtaining information regarding all applicable planning, zoning codes, and regulations that would affect the development of a site. 
  • Maintaining complete documentation related to all planning procedures, communications regarding the sites, and actions taken on each site assigned. 
  • Preparing and ensuring completeness of all necessary applications and supporting documentation including written site description, justification for site, plans and sketches, maps, and photo simulations.
  • Coordinating all paperwork and other materials related to project documentation i.e. engineering drawings, product specifications and modifications, and production schedules. 
  • The candidate may also be required to review all the details of the design and manufacturing process to determine what type of documentation may be required for various phases of a project.
  • Schedules due dates for drawings, specifications, software, technical manuals, and other documents collection, submission and attestation if necessary.
  • Monitors status of project to ensure documentation submitted according to schedule.
  • Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Submits project documentation to management for approval, and transmits approved documents to customer.
  • Confers with engineers, managers, customers, and others to discuss project, prepare documents, or modify contract schedules.
  • Preparation and submission of Invoices.
  • Point of Contact (POC) with customer, site owner and building in charge person to handle and facilitate the access requirements, document collection, document attestation, etc.
