Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Deployment
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment across development, staging, and production environments.
Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), or Cloud Run.
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in GCP/AWS hybrid environments.
Monitoring & Reliability
Set up and manage observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, etc.) to ensure proactive incident detection.
Develop alerting and incident response procedures, including runbooks and classification of service disruptions.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies for mission-critical workloads.
Security & Compliance
Enforce security best practices across infrastructure (SSL/TLS, IAM roles, firewall rules, and WAF/CDN configuration).
Perform regular vulnerability scanning, patching, and compliance checks (ISO 27001, OWASP Top-10, etc.).
Manage secrets and sensitive data securely (Vault, Secret Manager, or equivalent).
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with developers to improve build, test, and release processes.
Provide guidance to development teams on infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and cloud-native patterns.
Support database administrators in maintaining replication, sync, and performance optimization (MSSQL).
Participate in on-call rotation to troubleshoot critical issues and ensure uptime of services.

Qualifications:
Technical Skills
Strong experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred; AWS/Azure experience is a plus).
Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE, or Cloud Run).
Strong experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
Knowledge in web hosting engines, such as IIS and nginx.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Solid knowledge of networking (DNS, load balancers, proxies, firewalls, NAT, CDN).
Familiarity with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Cloud Logging).
Security
Understanding of IAM, SSL/TLS, WAF/CDN, and Zero Trust networking concepts.
Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR) is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to document processes, prepare incident reports, and create infrastructure diagrams/runbooks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Proficiency in the English language is a plus.
