Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team at LC Transportation in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to transport, load, and unload goods within the slaughterhouse facility, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of food products in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse and slaughterhouse premises.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with precision and care.
- Ensure the safe handling and storage of food products in accordance with industry regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation related to material movement.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to coordinate logistics activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a food processing or slaughterhouse environment.
- Valid forklift license and certification.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to forklift operation and food safety.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment efficiently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle demanding tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Working Conditions:
