Account Manager

Role Purpose:

The Account Manager is responsible for promoting the company’s products and services within assigned accounts. The role focuses on developing a deep understanding of each account, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring that the company delivers the highest standards of service while achieving its commercial objectives and sales targets.


Duties:


  • Fully accountable for the assigned territories and accounts to meet or exceed the annual sales target.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Waseela’s verticals by leveraging company solutions and collaborating with the System Engineering and Business Development directorates.
  • Implement Waseela’s business processes and strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and manage all upcoming tenders related to assigned accounts to ensure timely awareness, preparation, and submission.
  • Coordinate and deliver all tender submissions on time, ensuring full compliance with commercial and technical requirements.
  • Manage internal relations and decision-makers within each account to gather market intelligence, understand competitors’ strategies, and develop effective countermeasures.
  • Engage at multiple organizational levels within each account to ensure alignment and effective deal closure.
  • Ensure all commercial terms and company policies are adhered to in dealings with clients and potential partners.
  • Conduct proactive follow-ups with clients to ensure deal progression, closure, and satisfaction.
  • Support project payment collection milestones to ensure a healthy cash flow and follow up in case of delays.
  • Capitalize on project change requests (CRs), renewals, and future continuity of existing deals to maximize revenue.
  • Lead and facilitate all C-level and strategic meetings within the assigned territory to strengthen relationships and business positioning.
  • Provide competitor analysis and justification in case of any tangible deal loss to improve future performance.
  • Actively participate in local and selected regional conferences and events to promote Waseela’s presence and expand its professional network.
  • Prepare and submit detailed weekly reports covering account activities, sales pipeline status, and CRM updates.
  • Complete understanding of the account, including org structure, budget owners, and relevant vendor and competitor landscape. A strong relationship with the corresponding stakeholders is maintained through regular visits and frequent communication.
  • Own all commercial registrations needed in the account to make sure that the company is fully registered and invited to all relevant domains and tenders.
  • High-level awareness of our BU portfolio and ability to identify leads and engage specialist resources from BU with their corresponding contacts in the account.
  • Frequent and close follow-up with BU specialists on identified and qualified opportunities.
  • A KAM should be fully aware of all communication within the account to coordinate and avoid any possible overlap or conflict.

  •  Bachelor’s degree in communication engineering or related field.
  •  Minimum of 6 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development (preferably in ICT or systems integration).
  •  Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
