The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and operating production-grade AI systems that deliver measurable business value. This role bridges machine learning, backend engineering, and modern generative AI (LLMs, RAG, agents), ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with company objectives. Key Responsibilities Design and implement AI-powered features (LLMs, RAG systems, agents, predictive models). Build and maintain AI services & APIs (FastAPI, async services, model inference endpoints). Develop and operate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge sources. Collaborate with Data, ML, QA, and Architecture teams to ensure AI solutions are production-ready. Apply clean architecture, CI/CD, monitoring, and evaluation for AI systems. Ensure data quality, governance, and ethical AI practices (bias, robustness, explainability). Continuously evaluate and adopt new AI tools, frameworks, and best practices. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, documentation, and mentoring.
