Purpose:

    The Retail Promotor is responsible for driving sales of air conditioning and home appliance products    within the showroom by engaging customers, understanding their needs, and providing accurate product recommendations. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer experience, achieving sales targets, and maintaining strong product knowledge, particularly in air conditioning systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Actively approach and engage customers in the showroom in a professional manner.
  • Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable air conditioning and home appliance solutions.
  • Explain product features, specifications, energy efficiency ratings, and warranty details clearly and accurately.
  • Promote ongoing offers, promotions, and bundled deals to maximize sales value.
  • Close sales effectively and support customers through the purchase decision process.
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of air conditioning products, including split AC, window AC, cassette, ducted, and inverter systems.
  • Stay updated on new product launches, features, and competitor offerings.
  • Demonstrate proper usage, installation requirements, and maintenance guidelines to customers.
  • Ensure product displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Monitor stock availability and report low or fast-moving items to showroom management.
  • Ensure correct price tags, promotional materials, and product information are displayed.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Provide sales feedback, customer insights, and market trends to supervisors.
  • Accurately record sales transactions and customer details as per company procedures.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and escalate when required.
  • Support customers with after-sales coordination related to delivery, installation, or service requests.
  • Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.


Experience and Requirements:

  • Proven experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a sales promoter in home appliances or electronics retail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with persuasive selling ability.
  • Basic technical understanding of AC systems and home appliances.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Target-driven mindset with a professional and presentable appearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
