Job Purpose: To deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training for B1/B2 aircraft maintenance categories in accordance with CARC aviation regulations and approved training curricula. 
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Instructor Ensures accurate instruction, student performance monitoring, and full compliance with MTOE procedures while supporting the Academy’s mission of producing competent, certified aircraft maintenance engineers. 
Main Duties & Responsibilities: 
Deliver instruction in accordance with the approved training plans, curricula, and prescribed syllabi. 
Prepare lesson plans and appropriate instructional aids and materials relevant to the assigned subject. 
Ensure that classrooms and training facilities are properly prepared and ready prior to the commencement of lessons. 
Ensure that course concepts and information are clearly communicated to students, assess their level of understanding, and confirm adequate comprehension before proceeding to subsequent topics. 
Grade examinations within 48 hours of their administration, based on the approved answer key, and ensure that the results are entered into the electronic system by the Data Entry Officer following their approval by the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training Manager. 
Submit duly signed grade sheets and ensure that the results are properly recorded by the Data Entry Officer. 
Monitor and verify student attendance, record the names of absentees in designated attendance records, and ensure that such records are maintained and kept up to date. 
Conduct at least one weekly meeting with students, led by the Class Supervisor, and submit reports documenting the proceedings and outcomes of such meetings. 
Ensure students comply with the prescribed uniform requirements, applicable rules and regulations, and scheduled class timings. 
Provide guidance and counseling to students by identifying areas requiring improvement, addressing deficiencies, and maintaining appropriate records of such matters. 
Conduct practical exercises in accordance with the approved training plan. 
Ensure that student files are continuously maintained and kept up to date, with all required documents and forms properly completed and available. 
Prevent students who have not fulfilled the requirements for continued enrollment due to financial or training-related reasons from attending lectures, and report such cases to the Head of Department. 
Maintain effective classroom discipline during instruction and ensure that teaching remains within the scope of the approved curriculum and prescribed training programs. 
Ensure that academic concepts are presented and explained in a clear and simplified manner to facilitate students’ understanding, and verify their comprehension of each lesson topic before proceeding to subsequent concepts.
Working Relationships: 
Internal: works closely with Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training department staff and Academy students. 
External: Liaises with CARC and aviation training partners
Minimum Qualifications: 
Education: General secondary certificate. 
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance. 
Licensing: CARC Authorization. 
CARC Authorization Requirements:
1. Knowledge and understanding of Aviation Regulations & MTOE procedures. 
2. Knowledge of Aviation techniques. 
3. Completion of continuation training (Part-147.105 h). 
4. Knowledge in instructional techniques. 
5. Knowledge in the subject to be trained. 
Knowledge: Knowledge of aircraft maintenance techniques, CARC/MTOE training requirements, instructional methods and B2 subject matter. 
Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for preparing reports and training documents. 
Language: Proficiency in English.
