Sales Manager - ICT/ELV

  •  Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Build business by identifying and selling to prospects and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  2. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  3. Show proven success in managing major accounts, customers, and large contracts, particularly in achieving measurable sales growth.
  4. Possess a solid background in Sales and Marketing of ICT/ELV systems such as CCTV & Security Systems, Access Control, IT Networking, and Structured Cabling Systems (SCS).
  5. Have experience in tendering processes and proposal preparation.
  6. Understand the principles of sales and marketing, including market sector targeting, product offering development, and feature-benefit-solution selling. Able to work extended hours when required.
  7. Demonstrate understanding of profit and loss calculations and basic business finance (e.g., gross margin percentages and related calculations).
  8. Exhibit strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional business letters, quotations, and proposals.
  9. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
  • Key Duties:
  • Identify new business opportunities by researching prospects and analyzing their position in the industry.
  • Generate sales by establishing contact, building relationships, and recommending suitable solutions to clients.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships through consistent support, information sharing, and guidance.
  • Research and recommend new business opportunities and potential service or profitability improvements.
  • Stay current with market trends, industry activities, and competitor developments to identify new product or service opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales and market data.
  • Maintain quality of service by adhering to and promoting organizational standards.
  • Enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and benchmarking best practices.
  • Contribute to team goals and overall business success by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepare quotations for customers, negotiate terms and conditions, and close sales effectively.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payment collection.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring profitability and favorable terms and conditions.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and results orientation, with a positive outlook and a strong focus on quality and profitability.
  • Be mature, credible, and confident when dealing with senior executives and key decision-makers.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate teamwork, and ensure smooth interaction between departments.
