Job Description
 We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they enter our establishment. The Host will play a key role in managing guest flow, ensuring a smooth and organized experience, and contributing to the overall success of the front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring that guests are seated in a timely and comfortable manner.
Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate with guests regarding wait times.
Assist in coordinating with the service team to ensure seamless guest service.
Provide guests with information about the restaurant, menu, and promotions.
Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure that the dining area is clean, well-organized, and ready for guests at all times.
Assist with the flow of guests during peak hours, ensuring efficient seating and minimizing wait times.
Uphold high standards of customer service and contribute to a positive guest experience.
Manage guest complaints or special requests, coordinating with management as necessary.
Maintain a professional and polished appearance at all times.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or hospitality training is a plus.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Previous experience as a host, receptionist, or in a similar customer service role.
Knowledge of reservation systems and guest management software.
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
