Position: Software Engineer
Location: Amman, Jordan 
Job Purpose: 
To contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of ZagTrader’s software applications. The Software Engineer will work with modern technologies and frameworks, ensuring high-quality code and performance. This role supports team collaboration and continuous improvement in line with best development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development
Contribute to developing applications using .NET Framework / .NET Core.
Write and optimize code in C#, Java, VB 6 and VB.NET following best practices.
Learn and develop reusable components (User Controls).
Understand and apply design patterns to improve code quality and reduce development effort.
Work with Protocol's to integrate with external systems.
Database Interaction
Write and optimize queries using SQL Server.
Work with Entity Framework and ORMs for data access and management.
Apply database design principles and implement basic CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete).
Testing and Performance Analysis
Perform code testing to ensure quality with no bugs (Debugging & Troubleshooting).
Enhance application performance and reduce response times.
Familiarity with Git
Team Collaboration
Participate in team meetings and understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
Use Git and/or SVN for source control and versioning.
