Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating and streamlining our development and deployment processes, ensuring reliable and efficient software delivery. This role involves collaborating with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services to support application deployment and scaling.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation tools and improve development workflows.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across all systems and processes.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in the IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in cloud services or DevOps tools are a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
