 Purpose:  

To drive revenue growth by selling tailored HVAC solutions, leveraging technical expertise and market insights. This role supports business development through opportunity identification, client relationship building, and value-driven proposals aligned with strategic goals. 


Responsibilities:
  

  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and distributors to foster loyalty, generate leads, and expand business opportunities.                                                                                                        
  • Engage with key clients involved in mega projects to cultivate trust and establish long-term strategic partnerships. 
     
  • Develop and present customized proposals, drawing on prior success in estimating, selling, and marketing HVAC solutions to deliver tailored, value-driven recommendations aligned with client needs. 
     
  • Address client inquiries regarding credit terms, stock availability, and pricing during site visits, ensuring clients receive accurate information to make informed purchasing decisions while promoting Shaker’s HVAC offerings. 
     
  • Lead and support commercial negotiations by preparing terms, coordinating stakeholder alignment, and securing agreements that optimize value for Shaker and its clients, while reinforcing long-term strategic partnerships. 
     
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasts and backlog reports to monitor progress against targets, guide strategic decisions, and ensure achievement of monthly and annual revenue goals.  
     
  • Provide expert technical support by responding to inquiries on product features, specifications, and applications, enabling clients to make confident, informed decisions.  
     
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences, informing strategic planning and maintaining competitive positioning.  
     
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with customer requirements, delivering practical and effective outcomes. 
     
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements, industry developments, and competitive dynamics to ensure Shaker maintains a leadership position in the HVAC sector. 
     
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in all client and stakeholder interactions, reinforcing Shaker’s reputation for integrity and excellence. 
     
  • Monitor key sales performance indicators and prepare regular reports to assess progress, identify improvement areas, and optimize sales strategies. 


Requirements: 

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. 


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or a related role, preferably in the HVAC industry. 
     
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing strong client relationships. 
     
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including VRF, DX, and CHW solutions. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
     
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
     
  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze industry trends. 
     
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
     
  • High level of professionalism and ethics in client interactions.
      
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
