JOB PURPOSE
Perform a variety of mechanical duties on aircraft models involving disassembly, rework, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform all removal/installation of Exterior/Interior Panels and Mechanical Parts, on A, C and D check over many types of aircraft.
• Perform aircraft servicing and maintenance on Hydraulic systems, Fuel, Structures, Landing Gear retraction system, Engine Removal/Installation over a wide range of aircraft models.
• Perform Flight Control servicing and adjustments on a wide range of airbus aircraft.
• Perform a full Servicing on landing main parts, wing hydraulic and bleed lines.
• Perform full structure preparation for inspection over suspected areas.
• Prepare Fuel Tanks for Fuel Leak rectifications
• Make a good communication with cockpit when it comes to receiving an aircraft for schedule maintenance, towing and engine run up.
• Assist in the training of the new technicians.
• Responsible for clear, concise and accurate writing in parts identification for issue and return documents
• Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks.
• Complete the appropriate documentation.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Ensure proper Housekeeping around each project
• Prepare periodic and non-periodic reports as required
• Perform any other roles and responsibilities within the scope of his / her specialization as assigned by the direct manager.
• Adhere to company and department approved system, policies, procedures in perform his duties.
• Participate effectively in environmental protection programs (energy and water saving, waste segregation,) and notify for any environmental related nonconformities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Mechanical engineering, aeronautical or any related field.
• Accredited certificates or courses aircraft maintenance, Licensed B1 mechanic, FTS & CDCCL Level 2, 5S is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• Fresh graduate at entry level OR CARC/EASA and from 1 to 11+ years’ experience as A/C mechanic
• Must have extensive live aircraft maintenance experience, preferably hangar based.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Servicing /Rigging /Tools /GSE /HSE.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM, IPC, CMM, SRM, TSM & MPD).
• Strong comprehension and knowledge of airworthiness regulations, EASA part 145
• ERP system knowledge is an advantage..
