Avionics Electrician
JOB PURPOSE
Install, and/or perform needed repairs to aircraft systems utilizing test equipment and hand tools to return aircraft to service per manufacturers specifications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Removal/Installation of all Avionics related equipment in all parts of the Aircraft (Engine, Cargo, Cabin. Etc) including wiring rerouting and, repair. and test complex electrical systems.
• Removal/Installation and maintaining all Electrical power control systems which include tie-in of power and control circuits with other functional systems and Seat to Seat Harnesses.
• Replace defective control units, relays, indicating instruments, or other components of electrical systems.
• Install nonconventional electric and related equipment by routing and connecting wiring to new or existing electrical or electronic systems, components, or equipment.
• Maintain an organized work area and good housekeeping practices.
• Perform preparation for EWIS inspection
• Perform any other roles and responsibilities within the scope of his / her specialization as assigned by the direct manager.
• Adhere to company and department approved system, policies, procedures in perform his duties.
• Participate effectively in environmental protection programs (energy and water saving, waste segregation,) and notify for any environmental related nonconformities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic engineering, Electrical Vocational degree or any other related degrees.
• Accredited certificates or courses such as B2 electrician in aircraft is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• D + CARC/EASA + 3 years’ experience OR 6 CARC modules + 4 years’ experience, D + 2-year + CARC/EASA OR D + 4 years’ experience, D + 1-year experience + CARC/EASA OR D + 2 years’ experience
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic theory and principles.
• Knowledge of EASA regulations Part 145
• Good knowledge in Ms. Office products, ERP system knowledge is an advantage
• RCA knowledge
