Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Vaccination Technician to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering vaccinations to livestock, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records of all vaccination activities. This role is vital in supporting our farm services operations and ensuring the health and productivity of our livestock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer vaccines to livestock in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor animals for adverse reactions post-vaccination and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain detailed records of vaccinations administered, including date, type of vaccine, and animal identification.
- Ensure all vaccination equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with farm staff to coordinate vaccination schedules and procedures.
- Assist in inventory management of vaccines and related supplies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional veterinary or animal health training is a plus.
- Proven experience in livestock vaccination or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of animal health and safety standards.
- Ability to handle livestock safely and humanely.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
