Job Description 

  • Updating as-built drawings and ensuring CAD drawings accurately reflect the current state of the project, providing valuable support to the cartography team
  • Identifying publicly accessible areas on CAD drawings as a basis for designing device placements
  • Designing device placement for various projects and offering support to field operations in resolving any issues not aligned with the proposed designs.
  • Enhancing indoor and outdoor maps by incorporating paths and routes, enabling site calibration activities and facilitating a seamless navigation experience
  • Setting up projects, including CMS configuration, defining Nodes & Edges, identifying and defining Points of Interest (POIs), and maps into CMS
  • Installing PenguinIN hardware, such as beacons, equipment tagging, battery replacement, and other hardware installations.
  • Conducting site calibration using specialized software tools to ensure precise positioning and optimal functionality
  • Managing inventory and handling shipment logistics
  • Providing guidance and support to field engineers, addressing technical challenges or issues they may encounter during project implementation.

 

Qualifications 

  • College or University degree in engineering or any related field (0-2 years of experience)
  • Proven experience in CAD software, cartography, or related fields
  • Proficiency in creating and updating CAD drawings and ability to interpret and work with as-built drawings
  • Technical skills in hardware installation and troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal (Arabic & English)
  • Physical agility to perform tasks that may involve climbing ladders, extensive site walking, and other physical activities.
  • Proficiency in using hardware tools such as pliers, wire crimpers, cable testers, and other related equipment.
  • Possession of a valid driving license
  • Willing to travel extensively (50% of the time)
