Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive F&B Assistant Operations Manager to support the daily operations of our Food & Beverage department. In this role, you will assist in managing the overall operations, ensuring high-quality service, and delivering an outstanding experience to our guests. You will work closely with the F&B Operations Manager to oversee team performance, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain the highest standards of service and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the F&B Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations of all F&B outlets.
- Ensure that all F&B services meet the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and support F&B staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and perform at their best.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring minimal waste and cost control.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of F&B promotions and events.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across all F&B outlets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the F&B Operations Manager to prepare budgets, analyze financial performance, and meet profitability goals.
- Prepare reports on daily operations, staff performance, and guest feedback for management.
- Provide support in recruitment, training, and team development within the F&B department.
- Assist in managing special events, banquets, and catering operations when required.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the F&B Operations Manager.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of F&B operations, customer service, and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in managing a large-scale F&B operation is a plus.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
- Previous experience in event planning and management is an advantage.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Ability to inspire and lead a team while maintaining a positive working environment.
