ACS Ch. Sales Engineer

Purpose

To achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new projects and clients within the assigned region or industry, ensuring effective project implementation, leveraging Shaker Group’s HVAC products and services, and delivering value propositions that strengthen customer relationships, secure new opportunities, and enhance Shaker Group’s competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive HVAC sales growth with a strong focus on Commercial Solutions (ACS) and small to medium CAC projects, ensuring effective project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote Shaker Group’s HVAC Solutions by aligning customer needs with company offerings.
  • Build and manage long-term customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new HVAC sales opportunities with emphasis on new business growth.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor strategies, products, and services to differentiate Shaker Group.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets for HVAC product lines, market areas, and channels.
  • Prepare competitive, high-quality estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analyses.
  • Verify proposals and bids with management prior to customer presentation.
  • Negotiate value-based HVAC solutions to close deals under management guidance.
  • Provide regular updates to management on market changes and customer progress.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly HVAC sales forecasts and backlog reports.
  • Utilize CRM and sales tools effectively to plan, document, and track progress.
  • Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers and organizing sales schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with HVAC Solutions department’s policies, processes, and SOPs.
  • Secure technical commitments from customer staff to ensure successful deal closure.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Shaker’s HVAC products and services through workshops, catalogues, networks, and societies.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in HVAC sales, with a strong focus on Commercial Solutions (ACS) and small to medium CAC projects.
  • Proven ability to manage contractor-based accounts, including relationship building and opportunity development.
  • Skilled in handling fast-moving, smaller-value HVAC orders with efficient quotation turnaround and closure.
  • Experience in supply-only jobs and coordination with internal teams (sales support, logistics, finance).
  • Strong pipeline management, quotation tracking, and CRM usage (SAP / C4C or similar systems preferred).
  • Ability to work under supervision with high accountability, ownership of targets, and disciplined reporting.

  • Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field - Diploma
