We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Representative - Traffic to join our dynamic automotive company in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of traffic management, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance within the automotive industry. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in managing traffic operations, ensuring smooth vehicle flow, and optimizing transportation processes to support our dealership and service center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all traffic-related activities to ensure efficient vehicle movement and delivery schedules.
- Develop and implement traffic management strategies aligned with industry best practices and local regulations.
- Liaise with government authorities, traffic departments, and external agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth operations.
- Monitor traffic flow patterns and identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce delays and costs.
- Manage and supervise traffic staff, providing training and guidance to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare detailed reports on traffic operations, incidents, and compliance status for senior management.
- Handle complex logistical challenges related to vehicle transportation, including import/export procedures and customs clearance.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and traffic regulations to minimize risks and liabilities.
- Collaborate with sales, logistics, and service teams to coordinate vehicle movements and delivery schedules.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in traffic management within Kuwait’s automotive sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of extensive experience in traffic management, logistics, or transportation within the automotive industry, preferably in Kuwait.
- Deep knowledge of Kuwaiti traffic laws, import/export regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven ability to develop and implement traffic management strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with government agencies and external partners.
- Proficiency in relevant software and traffic management systems.
- Ability to analyze complex logistical data and generate actionable insights.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with automotive dealerships, import/export logistics, or fleet management companies in Kuwait.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
