Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Accountant to join our team in Dammam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing the cost of goods sold, preparing cost reports, and supporting financial decision-making processes within our food services operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze production costs and expenses to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare detailed cost reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to control costs and improve profitability.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies in cost data.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, raw materials, and production costs.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to cost accounting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or similar role, preferably in the food services industry.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
