Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fleet Officer to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's fleet operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise daily fleet activities, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and dispatch.
Monitor vehicle performance and ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
Liaise with drivers, maintenance teams, and external vendors to ensure timely servicing and repairs.
Prepare reports on fleet performance, costs, and operational issues for management review.
Ensure compliance with local transportation laws and industry regulations.
Assist in planning and implementing fleet optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles are in good condition and meet safety standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in fleet management or a related role within the food services or slaughterhouse industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards in Saudi Arabia.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and fleet management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driving license preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in fleet management or logistics are a plus.
Work Environment:
This position is based in Jubail and involves working in a slaughterhouse environment with exposure to various operational activities.
