Showroom Salesman

Purpose: 

showroom salesman primary responsibility is to facilitate sales within the showroom environment. This role involves engaging with customers, providing information about products and services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure professional communication by greeting and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. 
  • Assist customers with their purchasing decisions by understanding their needs and providing product recommendations.
  •  Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with patience and efficiency. 
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective sales techniques. 
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer shopping experience. 
  • Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  •  Maintain thorough knowledge of the store’s products, services, and promotions. Stay updated on new product arrivals, features, and benefits. Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers. Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  •  Replenish stock and arrange displays according to the company’s visual merchandising guidelines. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the store manager. 
  • Work closely with other sales associates and store staff to meet store goals. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Support team members during busy periods and share best practices.

Requirements:

  •  High school or diploma or equivalent.
  •  Experience and Requirements 1-2 Years experience in retail sales or customer service roles. Good understanding of the products and services offered by the showroom. Excellent communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Detail-oriented.
