Role Summary

The Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers (clients, employees, or VIPs) and/or goods to designated destinations in a timely and professional manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service orientation, knowledge of local routes, and adherence to all traffic laws and company safety policies. The Driver serves as a front-line representative of Guarantee Travel and must maintain the highest standards of professionalism, courtesy, and vehicle maintenance. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport passengers (clients, tourists, employees, VIPs) to and from specified locations including airports, hotels, tourist sites, meetings, and events 
  • Transport goods, packages, documents, and materials as required by the company 
  • Plan optimal routes considering traffic, weather conditions, road closures, and time constraints to ensure timely arrivals 
  • Monitor and adapt to changing road and traffic conditions to maintain schedule 
  • Operate vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies 
  • Ensure passenger comfort and safety at all times during transport 
  • Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or equipment 
  • Accommodate special passenger needs (elderly, disabled, children, VIPs) with appropriate care and assistance 
  • Maintain punctuality for all scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs 
  • Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections checking fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, brakes, and overall vehicle condition 
  • Keep vehicle clean, both interior and exterior, at all times including regular washing, vacuuming, and detailing 
  • Report any vehicle defects, damages, or maintenance needs immediately to supervisor 
  • Ensure timely servicing and maintenance of assigned vehicle according to manufacturer specifications and company schedule 
  • Keep vehicle stocked with necessary supplies (water, tissues, maps, first aid kit, emergency equipment) 
  • Secure vehicle properly when parked, ensuring doors are locked and valuables are not visible 
  • Maintain all vehicle documentation (registration, insurance, inspection certificates) current and accessible 
  • Greet passengers courteously and professionally 
  • Provide excellent customer service representing Guarantee Travel brand positively 
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with passengers 
  • Provide local information, directions, or recommendations when requested by passengers 
  • Handle passenger complaints or concerns professionally and report to management 
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times 
  • Respect passenger privacy and confidentiality 
  • Accommodate reasonable passenger requests within company policy 
  • Maintain valid driver's license and required certifications 
  • Report all accidents, incidents, or safety concerns immediately to management 
  • Follow emergency procedures in case of accidents or breakdowns 
  • Ensure proper use of seat belts by all passengers 
  • Keep digital or paper records organized and accessible 
  • Respond promptly to dispatch calls and schedule changes 
  • Coordinate with Fleet Supervisor on vehicle assignments and schedules 
  • Participate in department meetings and training sessions


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent driving skills with proven safe driving record
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics
  • Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems
  • Understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to operate various vehicle types (sedan, SUV, van)
