As a junior software QA specialist, your job duties include performing manual and automated testing, identifying bugs in software applications, evaluating user interface (UI) design and user experience (UX), documenting findings, and reporting them to the software developers and programmers responsible for the product.

Responsibilities:
 
Review and analyze system specifications to ensure alignment with testing requirements.
Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
Execute manual test cases, and assist with automated testing and result analysis.
Document testing phases and log defects for tracking and resolution.
Report identified bugs and errors to development teams for resolution.
Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
       Collaborate with developers, product owners, and senior QA engineers 
 
Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field.
1-2 years of experience as a QA specialist
Experience with JMeter and Postman.
Experience with manual and automated testing (selenium +java).
Good knowledge of SQL commands for data validation and testing
