Job Scope:

The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of raw materials, participating in their receipt, and verifying their validity, defect-free condition, and compliance with approved specifications. The role also includes maintaining warehouse cleanliness and ensuring the quality of finished products through inspection and documentation, in alignment with quality and food safety standards.

 

What you'll do:

  • Inspect raw materials, canned goods, frozen and chilled items received in warehouses, ensuring their validity and compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare daily reports on warehouse conditions and ensure the implementation of hygiene and safety procedures.
  • Approve or reject supplied materials based on inspection results and conformity.
  • Collect samples from finished products to assess quality and approve market release or halt distribution when necessary.
  • Retain samples of produced items and daily mixes for a specified period for quality monitoring and verification.
  • Inspect damaged goods before expiration or upon receiving market complaints, analyze causes, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Document all production-related data and procedures in accordance with approved standards.
  • Examine returned goods from other warehouses or agents and decide on approval or rejection after coordination with the Quality Manager.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities to prepare for official disposal procedures when needed.
  • Submit periodic reports on achievements, issues, and challenges to the Quality Manager.
  • Comply with food safety procedures and approved health standards.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor within the functional scope.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Food Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of practical experience in factories or warehouses.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inspecting product and raw material quality.
  • Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Physical ability to work in warehouse and factory environments.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and analyze data accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and ISO 22000.
