Showroom Salesman

Purpose:

Showroom salesman primary responsibility is to achieve sales within the showroom environment. This role involves engaging with customers, providing information about products and services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with their purchasing decisions by understanding their needs and providing product recommendations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with patience and efficiency.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective sales techniques.
  • Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system or any available payment method.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the store’s products, services, and promotions.
  • Stay updated on new product arrivals, features, and benefits.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers.
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Replenish stock and arrange displays according to the company’s visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the showroom supervisor.
  • Work closely with other sales associates and store staff to meet store goals.
  • Attend weekly and monthly team meetings aimed at achieving sales goals and participate in training sessions focused on Shaker Group products.
  • Ensure the application of health and safety standards throughout the showroom.

 

Requirements:

  • High school or diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 Years experience in retail sales or customer service roles.
  • Good understanding of the products and services offered by the showroom.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
