Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Monitor project progress to ensure successful completion and report for all Site progress issues.
Monitor Invoice progress for both client and Subcontractor.
Oversee and coordinate Project site logistics requirements to ensure smooth operations.
Review and finalize design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals before submitting them to the consultant for approval, and attend project meetings with clients and consultants.
Manage and execute HVAC & VRF Systems, AHU/FAHU’s, smoke management system, staircase pressurization system, carpark ventilation system, kitchen hood ventilation and associated Electrical, Plumbing, and interface with fire alarm and BMS services.
Coordinate with Shaker application and sales team to finalize VRF systems and HVAC systems for projects.
Manage and implement the overall project scope of works per project specifications and relevant international codes/standards.
Responsible for overall coordination and management of any assigned mechanical (HVAC, VRF, piping system, and commissioning of the systems) and with all other stakeholders.
Track the projects that are delivered on time, within scope, and estimated budget.
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Effectively maintain and manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders.
Coordination & implementation of QA/QC and HSE policies.
Coordinate with Shaker FE3 & FE4 Teams for successful T&C and Handover the project.
Collaborate with the service team and client to resolve issues during the project's warranty period.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering or a similar role.
Proven experience managing engineering projects from start to finish.
Strong technical knowledge relevant to the field of engineering.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project).
Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
