Responsibilities:
1.Developing Fitness Programs: Design and implement fitness programs tailored to the needs, goals, and fitness levels of individual clients or group class participants.
2.Instructing Fitness Classes: Lead group fitness classes such as aerobics, strength training, yoga, Pilates, or dance, providing clear instructions and demonstrations of exercises.
3.Ensuring Safety: Ensure the safety of participants by monitoring their form and technique during exercises, providing modifications as needed, and enforcing safety guidelines.
4.Motivating Participants: Provide encouragement, motivation, and support to participants to help them stay engaged, push through challenges, and achieve their fitness goals.
5.Educating Participants: Educate participants about proper exercise techniques, the benefits of physical activity, and healthy lifestyle habits to support their overall well-being.
6.Providing Feedback: Offer constructive feedback and guidance to participants to help them improve their form, technique, and performance, while also acknowledging their progress and achievements.
7.Maintaining Equipment: Ensure that fitness equipment is clean, properly maintained, and in good working condition, and report any maintenance or repair needs to management. 8.Demonstrating Exercises: Demonstrate exercises and stretches, explaining proper form, alignment, and breathing techniques to ensure participants perform exercises safely and effectively.
9.Assessing Progress: Track participants' progress, assess their fitness levels, and adjust workout plans accordingly to help them achieve their desired results.
10.Promoting Fitness Programs: Promote fitness programs, classes, and services offered by the gym or fitness center to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Qualifications:
1.Certification: Possess a nationally recognized certification in personal training, group fitness instruction, or a specialized fitness discipline from an accredited organization such as ACE, NASM, ACSM, or equivalent.
2.Knowledge of Exercise Science: Have a solid understanding of exercise physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, and nutrition, as well as principles of program design and progression. 3.Experience: Previous experience working as a fitness instructor or personal trainer, preferably in a gym, health club, or fitness studio setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality fitness instruction.
4.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively explain exercises, provide instructions, and motivate participants, as well as strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
5.Passion for Fitness: Genuine passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals, along with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and energy.
6.CPR/AED Certification: Current certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) usage, or willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
7.Continuing Education: Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends, new training techniques, and best practices in fitness instruction.
8.Professionalism: Professional demeanor, reliability, punctuality, and adherence to ethical standards, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold gym policies and procedures.
9.Inbody score: above 85%. 10.Member at specialized sport organization.
