JOB PURPOSE
Efficiently coordinates activities related to damage identification, assessment and repair by generating structural damage reports, communicate technical requests with the engineering, material related support (Ordering, Alternatives, fabrication, definition, ..etc) follow up paperwork closing and integrity.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the supervisors and Team leaders in damage evaluation and identification
• Perform the required evaluation of routine and non-routine tasks to determine the required action, tools, materials and hand skills in coordination with the supervisors and team leaders.
• Prepare damage reports and communicate the technical requests with the engineering for out of limit damages or deviations and maintain follow up on responses and implementation of repairs.
• Issue structural damage reports and structural repairs reports as required
• Attend major structural repairs and modifications to facilitate communication and reporting to engineering, customers and support departments in addition to developing the flow chart and follow up the implementation of the work plan.
• Report issues noted in task cards, flow charts, drawings, task cards, and technical documents in a timely manner and suggest corrective action.
• Efficiently maintains paperwork records or oversees recording of information by others to ensure that the maintenance instructions are documented in the assigned area.
• Support team leaders with parts and material ordering as required.
• Participate in performing the damage assessment PHYSICALLY when required.
• Provide the mechanics with hands on support when required in some jobs when required
• Prepare aircraft status reports as required.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities within the scope of his job
• Adhere to company and dep. Approved system, policies and procedures in perform his duties.
• Participate effectively in environmental protection programs (energy and water saving, water segregation...etc.) and notify for any environmental related nonconformities
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering or any related field.
• Structural damage identification, damage assessment, Drawings interpretation SRM navigation are plus.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• Fresh Graduate at entry level OR 2 to 5+ years of experience in MRO, Aviation field.
• Knowledgeable in working with drawings and sketches.
• Knowledge of EASA regulations Part 145
• Knowledge of metal, alloys, aircraft adhesives, and sealants
• Knowledge of the use, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials
• Must have basic knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair.
• Ms. Office knowledge (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.), ERP system
• RCA knowledge

• Ability to Convery a damage of a deviation into a comprehensive report

• Ability to perform structural analysis to substantiate repairs
