Job Description: Data Entry Clerk – Slaughterhouse

Position Summary:
 The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining operational and production data related to slaughterhouse activities. The role supports daily operations by ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting, and proper documentation in accordance with company procedures and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter daily production, slaughtering, and processing data accurately into company systems.
  • Record quantities, weights, yields, and operational metrics related to slaughterhouse activities.
  • Verify data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and report any errors to the supervisor.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records of production and operational reports.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to collect required data.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as required.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
  • Support inventory and raw material tracking through accurate data entry.
  • Assist in audit preparation by providing accurate records when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or diploma; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in data entry or production environments preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work in a slaughterhouse / production environment.
