Job Purpose:
Technician – Air Conditioning (HVAC) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems at telecom shelters, equipment rooms, and other related facilities. The role ensures optimal environmental conditions for telecom equipment and uninterrupted network performance through timely preventive and corrective maintenance. 
Key Responsibilities: 
Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in telecom shelters, equipment rooms, and related facilities. 
Conduct routine preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal system performance. 
Monitor and control temperature and humidity levels in BTS and data rooms to maintain operational stability of telecom equipment. 
Troubleshoot and repair faults in cooling systems (Split AC, Inverter ACs, etc.). 
Maintain accurate logs and documentation of maintenance activities, fault reports, and parts replacements. 
Coordinate with Site Engineers and NOC teams to minimize service interruptions and downtime during maintenance activities. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of service. 
Follow safety procedures and company standards in all maintenance and repair operations.
Qualifications & Skills: 
ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent. 
Minimum 2 years of experience in AC maintenance, preferably in telecom or data center environments. 
Strong knowledge of split and inverter AC systems. Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of HVAC systems. 
Ability to work under pressure and in outdoor site environments. Good communication and teamwork skills. 
Basic English literacy (reading and writing).
