Job Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Demand Planner – Fashion & Footwear to join our team. This role will be essential in supporting our supply chain and sales operations by accurately forecasting demand and aligning inventory levels with market needs for our fashion and footwear divisions.
Job Summary
1. Demand Forecasting and Analysis:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for fashion and footwear products using statistical tools and market insights.
Analyze historical sales data, seasonal trends, and market fluctuations specific to the fashion and footwear categories.
Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust plans as necessary to respond to changing demand patterns.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, procurement, and supply chain teams to gather relevant data and ensure alignment in planning.
Support inventory management decisions to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
3. Reporting and Insights:
Prepare regular reports and provide actionable insights to senior management regarding demand trends and inventory performance.
Assist in budget planning related to inventory procurement and distribution.
4. Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate demand planning processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Utilize ERP and demand planning tools to streamline forecasting and inventory management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or forecasting roles, preferably within fashion and footwear sectors.
Job-Specific Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
Familiarity with ERP and forecasting systems.
Good command of English (preferred).
