About the job:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Quality Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products to our customers. 


Key Responsibilities: 

Perform a variety of tests, such as regression, integration, platform, and performance testing to confirm the stability of software systems.
Work collaboratively with QA, development, and business groups to complete testing.
Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing.
Execute test cases, document test results and raise defects where you are responsible for tracking of all issues found.
Test new technologies and system functionality to ensure business acceptance, user acceptance and system integration.
Communicate test plan status to the QA Management to promote effective critical path decisions for the release.
Working with the development team to test the software and business processes developed to ensure they satisfy the business requirements, and meet the design/specification.
Contribute in conjunction with other members of the team to ensure all software errors are identified and corrected.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or any related field. 
1-2 years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance Testing.
Experience with manual and automation testing techniques and tools is a must.
Strong understanding of agile methodology and how QA functions within it. 
Understanding of software testing and debugging best practices.
Attention to detail, flexibility and an awareness of production and quality control problems.
Knowledge in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management.
Good understanding of product development and product life-cycle management in highly technical environments.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly.
