Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing cost data to support financial decision-making, ensuring accurate cost control, and optimizing profitability within our food services operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and report on cost accounting data to monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain cost standards and budgets for various departments and projects.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and inventory valuation.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to cost accounting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost control procedures.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for improving cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the food services industry.
- Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Arabic language skills are a plus.
