Job Purpose
The Site Civil Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of civil works on-site, ensuring that construction is carried out according to the approved designs, quality standards, and safety regulations while monitoring daily progress and resource efficiency.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise site laborers and subcontractors in executing civil and structural works.
- Read and implement engineering blueprints, shop drawings, and technical instructions.
- Monitor daily construction progress and ensure tasks are completed within the assigned timeframe.
- Inspect materials delivered to the site to ensure they match the approved technical submittals.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team to conduct site inspections and resolve any non-compliance issues.
- Prepare daily site reports and maintain accurate records of work progress and material consumption.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and HSE regulations are strictly followed by the site workforce.
- Assist in the measurement and calculation of completed quantities for progress claims.
Experience
3-6 years of experience in civil site engineering and construction.
Working Conditions
- Full-time site presence, exposure to construction environments and weather.
- Requires physical stamina for moving across construction sites and heights.
