The Warehouse Supervisor role is to manage daily operations, ensures inventory accuracy, maintains safety standards, and coordinates with departments to meet company goals.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipment processing, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Enforce compliance with safety regulations and operational standards, ensuring a safe and organized work environment for all staff.
Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure warehouse activities align with company goals and meet customer requirements.
Review, verify, and record supplier invoices and expenses, ensuring accuracy and forwarding them to management for timely approval and processing.
Provide training and continuous development opportunities for warehouse staff, evaluating performance to maintain high standards of efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
Conduct regular inventory counts and audits, ensuring stock levels are accurate and discrepancies are promptly addressed according to company policies.
Actively engage with the warehouse team to understand staffing needs, roles, and workload distribution, creating efficient work plans and ensuring appropriate tool allocation for each task.
Greet and manage visitors to the warehouse, addressing inquiries and ensuring appropriate actions are taken as per the company’s visitor protocols and security guidelines.
Monitor warehouse equipment and supplies, ensuring all tools are maintained in good condition and properly stored.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, staffing, expenses, and safety compliance, for management review.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures while promoting high standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and a positive organizational culture.
Experience and Requirements:
Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, safety protocols, and warehouse procedures.
Familiarity with warehouse management software and tools.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to train and motivate staff to meet performance goals.
