Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials related to our slaughterhouse operations within the food services industry. This role requires adherence to safety standards, timely deliveries, and proper vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy vehicles to transport products and materials to and from designated locations.
Ensure the safe and efficient handling of all cargo, complying with traffic laws and company policies.
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips, reporting any issues or damages.
Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues.
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid heavy vehicle driving license recognized in Saudi Arabia.
Proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver, preferably in the food services or slaughterhouse industry.
Good knowledge of Jubail roads and transportation routes.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
Capable of lifting and handling cargo up to specified weights.
Good vision and hearing to ensure safe driving.
