Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with strong manual testing skills and hands-on automation experience to join our team. The role involves testing an online grocery platform, including order management, inventory, and online payment flows, ensuring high quality, reliability, and performance of our product.
Key Responsibilities
Understand product requirements, user flows, and business logic related to e-commerce / online grocery systems
Perform end-to-end manual testing of mobile applications and Web.
Validate critical workflows such as:
User onboarding
Product search & checkout
Online payments (cards, wallets, gateways)
Order placement, cancellations, refunds
Write and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
Perform API testing for backend services and payment integrations
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and critical flows
Perform smoke, regression, and sanity testing for releases
Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and Marketing teams
Ensure quality standards are met before production releases
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
Strong hands-on experience in manual testing (Mobile & Web)
Solid understanding of SDLC & STLC
Experience testing e-commerce platforms (online grocery preferred)
Good knowledge of payment gateway testing (success/failure cases, refunds, callbacks, edge cases)
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients)
Hands-on experience with automation tools
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Good to Have (Preferred)
Experience with mobile automation (Appium)
Exposure to performance testing (JMeter)
Experience with cloud environments
Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools or test optimization techniques
