Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently.
Ensure the accurate recording and tracking of inventory levels.
Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including training, performance evaluation, and scheduling.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Implement inventory control measures to prevent stock shortages, overages, or discrepancies.
Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory checks.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, loading, and unloading of goods.
Optimize routing and distribution processes for efficiency.
Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards, address, and resolve quality issues promptly.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to streamline warehouse operations for maximum efficiency.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and technology to optimize inventory tracking and order processing.
Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
Enforce safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse, promoting a culture of safety. Conduct safety training and ensure the proper use of safety equipment. Ensure warehouse operations comply with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for warehouse incidents. Execute activities related to his/her function in safe and environmental methods.
