JOB PURPOSE /SUMMARY
The Policy Design & Advocacy Projects Expert leads and executes core tasks for policy and advocacy projects, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards. Responsibilities include overseeing research, dialogue, campaign, and international engagements, managing events, content creation, stakeholder relations, and data analysis. The role also involves administrative work and collaboration with internal services such as procurement, finance, IT, and admin staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and implement qualitative and quantitative research projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage dialogue projects and events, including coordination with stakeholders and speakers.
- Oversee administrative and reporting activities related to projects.
- Coordinate team and project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Manage project logistics, including travel, meetings, and conferences.
- Support campaigns and initiatives, including digital campaigns and content development.
- Prepare and document periodic and annual reports and organize project files and records.
- Coordinate with internal shared services and implement project monitoring and evaluation (M&E) processes.
- Represent program in relevant meetings and events.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, or related field.
EXPERIENCE
3-4 years of experience in Policy Design and Advocacy or similar.
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of the non-profit sector in Saudi Arabia.
- Knowledge of social policies, economics and research methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Trello, Google Drive-Sheets-Docs
