Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician with proven experience in hatchery operations. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems used in hatchery facilities, ensuring efficient water flow, proper drainage, and safe operation of all hatchery-related water systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety within our poultry hatchery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems within hatchery environments.
Install, repair, and replace pipes, valves, fittings, and plumbing fixtures used in hatchery operations.
Diagnose and repair water supply, drainage, and leakage issues affecting hatchery systems.
Maintain and repair plumbing for hatchery equipment such as humidification lines, water supply lines for setters and hatchers, and sanitation systems.
Ensure all plumbing systems comply with hatchery hygiene and safety standards.
Keep accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation.
Coordinate with hatchery and maintenance teams to address urgent issues.
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls within hatchery facilities.
Qualifications
Diploma in Plumbing Technology or a related field (Required).
Mandatory experience in poultry hatcheries.
Strong knowledge of water supply systems, drainage networks, and plumbing components used in hatchery operations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plumbing schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically capable of carrying out plumbing tasks in hatchery environments.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with hatchery equipment such as Petersime, Chick Master, etc.
Knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety and hygiene standards for poultry facilities.
