Chocolake Company, a leading chocolate manufacturer in Jordan, is seeking to hire a HSE Officer.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures within the company.
Conduct risk assessments at work sites and contribute to developing mitigation plans.
Investigate workplace accidents and injuries and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct field inspections and site walkthroughs to ensure that employees and contractors comply with occupational health and safety requirements and procedures.
Organize and deliver training and awareness programs for employees on occupational health and safety.
Monitor health and safety performance indicators and report findings to management.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Fire and Safety Engineering or any related field.
2–3 years of professional experience in occupational health and safety.
Must hold a certified Occupational Health and Safety Specialist accreditation from the Ministry of Labor.
Familiarity with management systems and standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Ability to prepare safety reports, conduct risk assessments, and investigate incidents.
Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different departments.
Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC or equivalent are preferred.
