Key Responsibilities:
 
Design, implement, and manage security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
Conduct security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to identify areas of improvement.
Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to mitigate security risks.
Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents or breaches.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into system designs and applications.
Provide technical guidance and support in the remediation of security weaknesses.
Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices.
Prepare documentation and reports on security incidents, compliance audits, and system performance.
Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network architecture.
Preferred Skills:
 
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, encryption software).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail..
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
