Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Coordinator to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance within our slaughterhouse operations in Jubail. The successful candidate will ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to, risks are minimized, and a safe working environment is maintained for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the facility to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide HSE training and awareness programs to staff and management.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and recommending preventive measures.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to HSE in the food services and slaughterhouse industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in HSE management within a slaughterhouse or food processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of local Saudi Arabian HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HSE management software.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- The role involves working in a slaughterhouse environment, which may include exposure to noise, chemicals, and physical hazards.
- Must adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
